Joe W. "Rocky" Pearce, Jr.

Pearce & Pearce, Inc. was founded by Joe W. Pearce, Sr. and his wife, Leila B. in 1947. Their son, Joe W. "Rocky" Pearce, Jr. is now President and CEO of the Corporation. "Rocky" leads not only his company but his community as well. He served as Mayor of Florence for eight years, during which Florence experienced unprecedented economic growth. He also served as Chairman of the Florence County Economic Development Authority. In 2002, Rocky was awarded The Order of the Palmetto by the Governor of South Carolina. This is the highest award bestowed on an individual by the state. The governor also named Rocky 2002 South Carolina Ambassador for Economic Development. Rocky’s wife, Carolyn, oversees the operations of Pearce and Pearce, Inc., to insure that all departments are working in conjunction with each other to better serve our customers.

Pearce and Pearce, Inc. has grown from only writing business in South Carolina, 50 years ago, to become a nationwide corporation. We currently provide coverage for students and sports programs nationwide. The plans we write are tailored to meet the needs of each account. From small-town recreation programs to major colleges, from basic accident plans to statewide community college coverage, we can design and service plans to meet your needs.
