
DOMESTIC STUDENTS
Participation in Ringling School of Art and Design's Student Health Insurance Plan is
required for all eligible students unless they are covered under another comparable
plan. Students may complete, sign and return the Waiver Card to Ringling School of Art
and Design in order to waive coverage under the plan. Students who do not complete,
sign and return the Waiver Card will be automatically enrolled in the plan and the premium
will be added to the tuition bill.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
All matriculating international students with a current F-1, F-2, J-1 and J-2 student visa
who are enrolled at Ringling School of Art and Design are required to purchase Ringling
School of Art and Design’s Student Health Insurance Plan unless they are covered
under another comparable plan. International students will be automatically enrolled in
the Plan and the premium will be charged to their tuition bill unless a completed
International Student Health Insurance Compliance Form is received by Ringling School
of Art and Design.
ENROLLMENT PERIODS ARE LIMITED:
Students may initially enroll their dependents for coverage up to 31 days after the start
of the Fall coverage period. The ONLY exceptions are: 1. Adding a new spouse or
dependent child (within 31 days of marriage, birth or adoption) 2. Loss of coverage
under another plan due to ineligibility (within 31 days of loss of eligibility) 3. New or
Transfer Student (within 31 days of date of enrollment at the School)
