The open enrollment period will open July 8, 2025, and close on August 26, 2025.
To enroll or waive medical coverage every student will need to login to their existing account or create an account. Upon login you will see an enroll or waive button within your account.
Reminder, International students are not eligible to waive the Student Health Insurance.
After you have completed your selection to Enroll in or Waive out of the Kansas City University Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), if you wish to enroll in the separate Dental and/or Vision coverage, please make the appropriate selection(s).
Enrolling in dental or vision coverage:
To enroll in dental and/or vision coverage select the appropriate enroll button(s) below. You will need to input your student information the same as it appears in your account. If enrolling in the dental, and/or vision coverage you will need to take a separate action for each as it is not elected as part of you enrolling in medical coverage. For example, if you wish to enroll in medical (SHIP), dental and vision you should have completed the enrollment pages and shopping cart experience 3 times.
You may also waive the medical coverage(SHIP) and still enroll in the dental, and/or vision coverage if you would like.
Enrollment for dental and vision is only available during the fall semester as they both are annual coverages only.
Upon completion you will be asked to submit payment. Once your payment is processed you will receive a confirmation email and/or text, if you opted in for SMS, for each coverage you purchased.
